Senior Thesis

Sarah Garner is a undergraduate in the honors program at the University of Delaware graduating in May of 2025. She has completed her senior thesis in our laboratory and is a second author on our most recent manuscript!! She is working towards majors in biological sciences and liberal arts for the Medical Scholars Program with minors in dance, history, and biochemistry. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, attending and teaching dance classes, and volunteering at a cat adoption center. Sarah is interested in educational and biological/chemical research that has medical implications.

Sue comes to us from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School where she has spent a long career in the clinical studies department studying Botulism and Johne’s Disease before moving on to the Molecular Diagnostic lab diagnosing Avian diseases including Avian Influenza. In her spare time Sue enjoys reading, cooking and gardening and is a member of a Women’s golf league in the nicer weather. Most of all Sue loves to go to their place in Chincoteague, VA where she spends time boating, kayaking, riding bike, and chilling out on the beach.
